Studio Visit with Fine Artist, Kara Valentino Ffield

nside Kara Valentino Field Studio

You round the corner in your favorite museum and there it is: a painting that stops you in its tracks instantly vacuuming your breath away. You appreciate it from afar and then slowly approach… heart beating stronger with every step… letting it wrap you up in its story, its color, its texture… until all of a sudden, you lose yourself inside it.

That was me when I experienced-

Kehinde Wiley’s, Officer of the Hussars…

Frida Kahlo’s Self-Portrait with a Monkey, which moved me to tears…

and also when I take pause to appreciate my original painting by artist Kara Valentino Ffield.

Kara is more than a dear friend, each of her works is a ticket for my imagination to escape into a magical and hazy daydream.

I was fortunate enough to be invited by Kara into her studio for a little Studio Visit. During our chat, we talk about her hobby farm, her meticulous attention to detail, her artistic journey, and so much more!
